The Waka Maya Resort is pleased to announce an exciting promotion for 2006. In the past our many returning guests have become part of our family and we hope that these new, reduced rates will give future guests this opportunity as well. Our many years of experience and thoughtful service have placed the WakaMaya among one of a small, elite group of hotels in Bali known as Boutique Resorts. Inspired by the classic Balinese family compound, the WakaMaya is uniquely nestled amidst lush tropical bamboo and coconut groves, away from crowded areas and next to the National Mangrove Forest, a bird watcher’s haven. The ocean is a mere 5 minutes walk away. The WakaMaya offers sanctuary from the modern world; we guarantee our guests seclusion, relaxation and serenity.
At the WakaMaya you will find seven delightful Balinese-style bungalows (Lanai), 2 of them with private plunge pool in an exclusively sculptured environment plus five individual self-contained two and three bedroom villas, some with two bedrooms, some with three, all exquisite in design and detail; three villas have large private swimming pools. Our main WakaMaya swimming pool is styled after the ancient Balinese temple bathing pools; scattered around the lush, tropical grounds are small ponds with lotus flowers and colorful fish.
The fully trained staffs at our Massage Center and Spa are ready to soothe frayed nerves and tired bodies; in Bali we believe that massage is a necessity, not a luxury, and each guest receives a complimentary, traditional Balinese massage on arrival.
For guests wishing absolute privacy and seclusion, the kitchens of the villas are fully equipped, allowing you to make your own coffee, tea or even cook your own meals. The kitchen of our poolside restaurant offers quick snacks, plus a sophisticated variety of dishes, that can be served on the veranda of your own room or in the dining area of your villa.
We offer complimentary shuttle service to the Beach Club and Café, just 5 minutes from our hotel and to the many exclusive shops in Sanur. In addition, our proximity to the main highway makes the WakaMaya an ideally situated home base for further exploration of the beautiful island of Bali.
