Holiday Villa `manjas’ the European market [published on Jan 31, 2005] Natalie Chen
31 January 2005 (GMT+8)
Staying true to its Malaysian origins, Holiday Villa has seen its tagline `Let us Manja U’ pay off. If you picked up the fan at the ATF opening ceremony you’d even see its other catchy pun.
Guests can expect warm hospitality when they stay with us, said Kenneth de Silva, general manager, business development & special projects, Holiday Villa Malaysia, International.
This is our advantage over the international chains, a new trend is surfacing among the long-haul markets as they choose to stay in properties which reflect the ethic culture, he added.
Holiday Villa aims to develop the European market further with new offices to be set up in London, Bali and Sydney. The hotel company is also participating at ITB, BIT, WTM and organising roadshows in Scandinavia and Germany.
“This is in response to the direct flights from Stockholm and we expect a good demand.
“We have our Balinese inspired Amoaras Wellness Spas in Bali, London and Cherating, with Langkawi coming online soon. Our spas will add value to our hotels as our guests have been asking for this especially in our resort properties,” said de Silva.
Holiday Villa’s Bali resort is the newest with the refurbishment completed last in September.
“We are going all out for this property. The next new property is Shifeng Holiday Villa Changshu, in China due to open 2006,” said de Silva. | |
