Economy  The economy of South Kalimantan is supported by various economic sectors. The Agricultural sector produces food crops and commercial crops such as rice, corn, peanuts, soybeans, coconut, rubber, cloves and cacao.
The Livestock includes cows, buffaloes, horses, goats, sheep and pigs, while the Fish Products of the Fishery sector are Tuna, skipjack tuna, cakalang, and gouramy etc.
The Forestry sector produces rattan, resin, logs and ebony, while the Mining products are petroleum, coal, diamond, gold, iron ore and tiles. The Handicrafts include wood-carvings, rattan and wood furniture, reptile skins and weaving. |
